In the first (and part of the second) quarter, after the Spurs scored they made an effort to deny Steve Nash the ball on the inbounds, and forced someone else to bring the ball across mid-court. I thought it was a great idea, and I think it played a part in slowing down the Suns offense. A lot of the time, Nash hits someone with a pass during that first furious rush down court. When the Suns' offense goes below 14 seconds in the shot clock, their percentage goes way down.

Later in the game, they seemed to get completely away from doing it. Any thoughts why?
