retirement negates the bet, imho.

tbh he has my vote for the Hall Of Fame.

well just think it through, logically.

it's like having a 401k. as long as ur with the company then you can keep contributing funds and they'll match it. once you leave, there's no chance to get your former employees to continue to contribute anything to it. there's another formula regarding chug to glug ratios that also confirms this scientifically while allowing recourse for paramount circumstances.

which of course shows that, legally, matt jones retiring negates the sig bet tbh.

brah this isn't a question of winning or losing, it's a question of the legality of the bet now that the great matt jones has retired. tbh i would honor the bet but not if it puts me in federal prison.

I'm having a lawyer look into it for me. If he says it's okay, then I'll do it. If legally he says I can't do it for fear of prison time, then I'll abstain.

That's all I'm sayin.

Well, mono, I've looked over all the paperwork, and unfortunately there's no legal basis for ducking out of this sig bet. In fact, negligence in paying up would make you vulnerable to a countersuit by dirk4mvp. My professional advice would be to own up to the bet, and sooner rather than later.
