I know a morning shower is supposed to wake you up, but some mornings I am so tired that I have to take a coffee just to be able to go take a shower :lol

I can do that only during summer
I live in Montreal, an winters are tough here, so I take a lukewarm shower, then at the end of the shower, I switch to fresh/cold to wake the fuck up.
And I agree with the benefits you listed; plus, you look less tired after using cold water, less dark circles, etc
