By the unofficial Tea Party endorsement I linked on another page, there were 15 senate endorsements, 93 house endorsements, and 8 governors. So far, the senate is at 10 wins, 2 losses, and three uncalled. The house is at 41/27/25. The governorship is at 3/3/2.
They clearly backed mostly winners in the senate. The house is very respectable by their pics, and nothing can be determined for the 8 governors.

1) What is the official Tea Party that made all these endorsements?
2) Correlation <> causation
3) I will go out on a limb and predict the Tea Party candidates will be fairly indistinguishable from other Republicans when it comes to actual governance.

the tea baggers IS the Reugs IS the tea baggers
the tea baggers will write no legislation and will vote 100% of the time with the Repugs, who WILL write the legislation

1) The Tea Party Express doesn't care about enacting legislation or having debates, they only care about being a wrench in the cogs...which is what the GOP have been for 2 years under Obama. Gridlock is their victory.
2) The "Tea Party Candidates" are the conservative's version of the hope independents had for Obama. They believe spending will come down, but the GOP will merely sell the upcoming increase in the debt cieling as a consequence of Obama's 2 years in office...the logic being "when you're in such a bad spot, sometimes you gotta bite down on the bullet - but just this once!"
I can only hope The Tea Party Express stands up to the GOP the same way they bitched and moaned about Obama. If spending is out of control now, they can't allow it to go even higher even in the short-term when the only people profiting are the very rich - programs NEED to be cut. Otherwise, the Tea Party IS a joke. What happened last night didn't prove shit about the Tea Party.

Yup. People go to Washington to change it, but it changes them. In two years, the Tea Party will be the new Hope and Changers, a movement that got left by the side of the road, when all of the people that got excited see what little they can actually accomplish of their vision against Washington inertia.

Nominal tea baggers (nearly all financed by VRWC, Cock Brothers, etc) will get mired in
DC corruption and paralysis.
Tea baggers will be extorted by lobbyists into voting for the lobbyists' employers profits, or else (No Money For Your Next Election, All Money for Your Opponent), just like every other politician.

I actually will give the tea party folks an opportunity to convince me that they are there to work rather than simply obstruct. With that being said, I am relieved that Miller, O'Donnell and Angle are going to fade away..

Angle was a loon. O'Donnell was a thief. I don't know about Miller. WTF happened up there?

Chumps 2nd point is the most important. Palin road the coattails of economic discontent. Its like me waiting to the fourth quarter of the SuperBowl in a blow out and then patting myself on the back because I picked the winning team.
