View Full Version : Game Thawts: Suns Edition

So I could start out with an election reference but recent feedback indicates my game thawts are lame enough without them.

In one of my other game thawts I mentioned that Richard Jefferson wouldn't always be this accurate, but I was glad to see him being aggressive, taking smart shots, and working hard for his points. I guess Dick wants to prove me wrong; through four games his lowest field goal percentage is .636.

DeJuan "Panda" Blair still hasn't looked anything like the guy we saw last year. He looked a little better against the Suns, but he really had nowhere to go but up so that's not saying much. That pass to referee Leon Wood was __________ (Fill in the blank).

Tiago looked good considering he's an NBA rookie, and he's still getting into game shape after his preaseason injury.

Timmy had six turnovers, luckily he also had 27/17/3 so it's hard to be mad.

You know I'd bet money that Antonio McDyess could play into his fifties if he wanted to. The guy stays in excellent shape, and his basketball IQ is through the roof.

I think it's normally only done in football, but I'm going to go ahead and do this any way:

I think it was because he saw Pop agreed with that BS Steve Nash backing up move that drew TP's 5th foul. Pop was saying,"I'm going to light into the refs for you TP!!!!"

I almost want to re-watch the game so I can see the circumstances of that picture.

Well, I for one am disappointed by your latest effort. Where are the misplaced analogies? the embarrassing witticisms? Without those, all that's left is a bunch of spare comments lacking any insight. At least with all your previous thawts, there was something to remark about.
Anyway...

Good for RJ. He loves balls.

Pop: "OMG, what the fuck?"
Parker: "Sorry coach, just laughing at the latest Thawts."

Didn't you already use that one?

Yes. It's going to be my sign off when I respond to Thawts.
Besides, not being able to start new threads, I also can't customize my profile with avatars, signatures, etc.
So I'll just use it in the regular post.
Sorry for any confusion.

My random thoughts after this game:
The more I see DeJuan Blair play, the more I miss Matt Bonner starting.....
If the Suns still had Amare, we woulda gotten our asses handed to us AGAIN..
We need Bruce Bowen, and a hot tub time machine.....

G-Dawgg,

If you feel the need to post your game thoughts, please start a new thread and don't invade the Thawts column.
TIA

I thought it was a foul on Tony when it happened. I was convinced on the replay. As a defender you are responsible for establishing position before the man you're guarding bumps into you. Tony did not do that. The fact that Nash stopped suddenly (he wasn't really "backing up") does not change that.

Hey, Nash drew the foul. It happens. It was a foul.

That's one of those things where if it is technically a foul, it probably shouldn't be. At the same time as a defender you don't want to be behind the guy you're defending, but Nash is really good at doing that to people.

lol, that's so funny you have no idea.

Well, I admit, I'm mostly a math guy as evidenced by my diplay of my knowledge of statistics yesterday.

But I'll give it a try...

It's funny because:
1) how ridiculous would it be to think Thawts is so pure that we wouldn't want anyone else spoiling it with their own mindless drivel.
2) advising him to start a new thread when starting redundant pointless threads is precisely why I can't start new threads
3) asking him not to invade Thawts when that's what I may have unintentionally done.

To punch up Thawts a bit and in respect of a couple of our foreign born players, here is Thawts, translated online into Portugese, then to French, then back to English.

Thus I could start with a reference of l' election but the recent provision indicates that mien thawts play are lame much without them. In one of my others thawts of the play j' mentioned this Richard Jefferson wouldn' ; T was always this exact, but j' stays glad to see it being aggressive, taking malignant shootings, and working hard for their points. I to suppose that Dick wants to prove to me erronéement; through four plays its low percentage of l' objective of field is, 636. " ; of DeJuan; Panda" ; Blair still hasn' ; T looked at n' import what like the person that we saw l' last year. It looked at a little better meeting with the suns, but it had really in any part to go but above so that ' ; S which does not say much of. This passage to arbitrate the wood of Leon is ____ (it fills l' space vacuum). Tiago looked at good considering he' ; S a recruit of NBA, and he' ; S in spite of começ in the form of the play after its wound of preaseason. Timmy had six returns, fortunately it also had 27/17/3 thus d' it' ; S hard with being insane. You know I' ; D bet l' money that António McDyess could exploit their Fifties s' is desired. The person remains in the excellent form, and its basketball IQ is through the roof. I think it' ; S makes normally only in football, but I' ; m which will go ahead and will do this one some manner: The sphere of play of Tonights goes:
Richard Jefferson
