How I wish they were still elite...
Bare with me, I'm drunk and feeling nostalgic. As a Laker fan it still sucks that we were never able to exact revenge on those bastards. Everybody else got got, but the D got away. Since Bean (and Fish, for most of it) have been Lakers, LA has lost in the playoffs to Utah, SAS, Detroit, Phoenix, and Boston. We've crushed Utah 3 years in a row, beat SAS in 2008 (and hold a 4-2 playoff edge in that timespan), and exacted sweet revenge on the Suns and Celts last year...but we never had another crack at the Pistons. Such is life. :bang
