This might seem like a strange title for a thread, given how limited Tim's game has been this post season. But a look at his numbers puts things in a slightly different perspactive:

Despite suffering a series of ankle sprains in the last part of the season and in the playoffs, Tim Duncan is well on his way to some remarkable postseason numbers.

He's raised his scoring average with every series.

20.3 ppg in the regular season. 22.0 vs Denver. 25.2 vs Seattle. 28 his first game in the wcfs.

It's hard enough to raise you play in the playoffs to begin with. To do it while having to adjust your game because you were injured or recovering from injury is what you would expect only from the best of the best.

Oh, yeah. Duncan passed David Robinson to become the leading scorer in Spurs playoff history in game 1.
