what about Ben Gordon? left a Chicago team when they were on the uprise because (iirc) he didn't like not starting. left for team that will struggle to make the playoffs for at least the next couple years. i also think he didn't like Derrick Rose overshadowing him.

In a micro view I'd spotlight Manu in this past Spring's series Vs. the Suns. He was incapable of performing, but, selfishly he insisted on taking the floor. Manu's ego was writing checks that his broken snout couldn't cash.
