Johnson was playing like shit and couldn't throw. His shoulder just hasn't recovered but apparently he's handled the benching really well. Tannehill broke Johnson's single game passing yards with his 469 passing yards against tech last weekend. Should be an interesting game..

OU's defense is suspect inside and out. Especially over the middle.

On Defense it's simply a matter of containing Murray on the flat passes and bracketing Broyles on every single play with a safety.

We held Broyles to 30 yards catching, but did a piss poor job on Murray. Even taking out only 1, we held them to a low point total.

My voice is shot, and my arm is sore from waving the 12th Man towel, but what an awesome win for this team. Offense was there, but MAN, was that defense awesome to watch. Straight up denying ou on the goaline multiple times was freaking epic. Fantastic night, can't wait to head up Hwy 6 to waco next week!

fantastic outcome. just furthers my opinion, stated earlier, that this team's problem was qb play. not that other areas could not improve, but talent wise A&M is a top 15 -20 team.

tannehill has been solid but not perfect in any way. still, he has been way better than johnson was. there is far more zip and air to his throws. but what has also helped is that the true freshmen offensive linemen have been getting better and are making less mistakes.

the defense is also getting more adopted to the new system and getting better each weak as well.

nice to see progress in a season for a change. with all the youth the ags have this is just a big positive.
