Thought this deserved it's own thread.

He's probably out, his fiancee is giving birth to a girl so he left to be her and it seems he won't return in time. Congrats to him!

Hill is likely to play, and surely more minutes for Neal.

....disappointed, Anderson being a scrub probably would have dropped 20 on us. Rockets can't afford to win tonight. We need that franchise lotto player.

Normally I'd be all like "cool congrats." But I'm actually going to the game so I'm more like, this sucks.

There are things in life that are bigger than a basketball game. Give it rest people.

In yeah this indeed sucks for both of us. Sucks for Spurs to lose for you, and sucks even for Rockets to win for me.

This is Gee's turn to get some minutes tonight.

I don't know about that. He still probably won't be in the rotation. This likely means more minutes for Neal and some minutes for either Temple or Quinn.

The Rockets have one true three and despite his size, he's not exactly the type who's going to routinely bully smaller defenders in the post, so the Spurs should be able to get away with Ginobili playing backup three.

Congrates to James Anderson. I was really looking forward to see the Hill-Neal-Anderson Bench Combo in action again, but there are indeed more important things in life than basketball.

I guess since Simmons is out, this means more minutes for RJ, and I am guessing Temple might see some minutes at SF. Who knows, maybe we will actually have a Gee sighting! :wow

Congrats to Anderson and his fiancee. Like goes well for him.

I hope wee will see some Gee tonight. He will likely be cut in few days so it could be nice to have a last look at him.

George Hill (neck spasms) will play for Spurs tonight vs. Houston. James Anderson (new fatherhood) will not. #spurs

Good thing Willie Anderson didn't care about his kids or he might have missed half his career with child birth responsibility. :rollin

Yeah, I was just thinking as badly as things are going for y'all now, if you and New York both suck this year (certainly possible), you could have two lottery picks in this year's draft, right? Is New York's pick protected at all?
