BUMP

Srsly, people need to slow down on the Laker kool-aid. I'm not hating at all, I think when it's all said and done Phil will get his 4th three-peat at the end of the season, but they are not gonna break the 72 win record.

They've had a very favorable schedule to start the season. Once travel starts to kick they will start to drop a few games. The only game out of state they've played is at Phoenix, which might as well be in California :lmao

Bump with the goods. The Lakers aren't getting 72 wins... What's more important is the HCA for the entire playoff run.

Toadstomp Tuesday .......

Lakers are work the Pups. Get ready for that 8-0 start. Hope this isn't a trap game with them thinking about Thursday.

Send Superman to the tree of woe, Lakers! Sorry, Rambis, you will always be a part of the Showtime era, but this is business.

of course they will drop a few games. Especially if Bynum comes back

they will win around 65 games this season. good for #2 n the league

There's also the chance that Kobe goes back to his ball-hogging ways when the "Gasol for MVP" buzz starts. The Lakers would still be ahead of everyone but it would make things a lot more even.

Sure enough, Kobe takes 28 shots on 42% shooting while Gasol takes 13 shots on 61% shooting and the Lakers beat the Wolves by 5 at home.

Some people just can't change.

It's true. Some people can't stop winning championships. Other people can't stop harboring Nazi's.

LOL this thread was a classic

if u really think bout it theres not much competition 4 my team this season..................honestly i really think da Lakas will brake 72....................

in the western conference the lakers will see no serious challenge, unless some other contender achieves an influential change (like butler + craps for iggy, etc.)

Can they win 70 games?

You guys will make the playoffs for sure. Nothing has changed in the west. It's the Lakers and then everyone else fighting for second. I'm not sure why anyone would have expected anything else going into the season tbh. I'm not trying to talk shit either. But this has been the status quo the last couple of years and no moves have been made that are going to change that.

Hate to say it, but the Bulls 72 wins record is in jeopardy. The Lakers have added some great pieces around Gasol.

This is the best team ball I've ever seen the Lakers play and that's including Magic / Kareem teams.

By the time lakers get to the playoffs they will well rested and tbh this is not even th best as it gets. It's not our fault we barely even try and blow teams out. This team and kobe especially can go up a couple gears if needed

I know a cat very educated, world traveler, the fucking King of the Casino's (no really)or should I say King of Predictions...he told me last week that by Jan 2nd the Lakers will be 31-2...and one of those losses won't include the x-mas day showdown either...

Lakers are on pace to break the Bulls record...76 more games before the 3 peat begins...:hat

In all honestly, this season has been a snoozefest. The Lakers are playing bored out there giving minimal effort on D. End result? Perfection.

I already made the stealth 70 win ecstasy thread. RIP Allanon

According to Phil Kobe isn't even 100%. And the Lakers are still missing their Championship starting center. Fucked, I tell you. :bking

They would roll any team from the Bling Bling dynasty. There, I said it.

85 LakeShow was staaaaaaaaaaaacked tho.

this team isn't even playing their best basketball yet tbh. once we turn on the light switch the rest of the nba will get royally skull fucked.

I think the current bench is better than that team's. Medvedenko and MAdsen lower the quality.

LOL Kobe has matured a bunch & if he keeps sharing the ball like this then the NBA is screwed I tell ya hahaha. I wont mind him shooting a lot in playoff road games though when some of the guys dont show up.

Its pretty crazy what Mitch has done with a team that just went back-2-back.I actually cant wait until the bench comes in now. Last few seasons I would cringe when the starters got their rest because they would always blow leads & play like a bunch of idiots. Now I know that Farmar was the cancer because he never shared the ball, couldnt throw the ball into the post, & didnt know what defense was. If you guys watched the game last night you saw Blake steal the ball & then throw it off the backboard for a Gasol dunk. Well Ear Jordan would of NEVER done that type of shit, he was the opposite of a team player & I'm extremely happy with the guys we have now. Oh & LO on the bench when Bynum returns, that unit is gonna be showtime.

All that really matters is that they're the deepest Laker team we've had in the past 4 years. I could care less about having the most wins or any of that other than the possibility of having HCA throughout the playoffs. Staying healthy, getting better as a unit, and tuning-up for the playoffs are all more important in my opinion. The argument of whom is deeper and all that is a waste of time and effort.

This is the best team ball I've ever seen the Lakers play and that's including Magic / Kareem teams. The 2000-01 Lakers was basically Shaq and Kobe show. This year the wins have been a real team effort and its surprising to me to see the Lakers bench actually executing the offense -- especially when Barnes, Blake and Bratliff are new to the system. I didn't expect it from Barnes.

By the time lakers get to the playoffs they will well rested and tbh this is not even th best as it gets. It's not our fault we barely even try and blow teams out. This team and kobe especially can go up a couple gears if needed

:lol numerous Laker fans saying this team would be better than Shaq/Kobe teams..
:lol numerous Laker fans saying that this team was comparable to Magic/Kareem teams..
:lol 21 Blessings continuing his roll..
