lolololol, might as well get the rumors started on the next installment. from IGN http://pc.ign.com/articles/113/1133247p1.html

According to a report from Gamasutra, industry sources claim the Call of Duty title currently being developed by Sledgehammer Games will take a futuristic spin on the franchise.

The game will supposedly include space marines and will be set in the far-distant future. Activision has yet to confirm which developer is handling the 2011 Call of Duty title, which is believed to be down to either Infinity Ward or Sledgehammer Games.

Activision has yet to return requests for comment on the report.

This rumor lends credence to the recent website registrations by Activision, however, which included "Future Warfare," "Advanced Warfare," "Secret Warfare," and "Space Warfare."

Sci-fi offers quite a bit of interesting milleius for a game. I might be tempted to break down and buy it.

Modern Warfare: Halo?

:lol

that's what I was thinking.

Whatever they do, it needs to have a new engine. It's definitely time for them to change things up like they did with MW1

Not opposed to this, sounds good. Some what Halo'ish story line with the customization and playability of COD.
