The Big 12-2 isn't that much of a real conference anymore. I guess there is some parity between Iowa State and UT now, but that's not because Iowa State got better.

Big XII-II does suck today, yet TCU would give one of it's horned nuts for an invite.

UT should compete for Big 12 title next year and might even be in NC talks. Every team has a bad year. When Mack Brown leaves for the Cowboys job and the NCAA talks about taking back the 2005 national championship, UT should worry.

There does not seem to be a super team this year in college football. Even Auburn looks like they could lose any week now. It should be an interesting bowl season.
