Bosh is a wanna be superstar and Wade has lost a step compared to 4 years ago. This team is a joke and proof that chemistry is important. Clog the paint on this team and make them finish in traffic. Attack their downy soft Bosh and Joel Anthony on the other side of the court as well. No surprise that teams with Bosh on them are terrible on defense.

Lebronnie had almost as many FTs as the entire Celtics team ... and they still got a big

Just think: It could've been Beasley, Haslem, Bosh, Bron, and Wade in Miami. Instead, they got Mike Miller.

LeHype 17/22 FTs
Boston 17/25

...and the Hype still lost. :wakeup

I was never hardcore, but I thought everyone was too hard on them. I'm off the bandwagon now, so if you want to point and laugh, heckle or pick my brain, fire away.

Kobe may have shot 6-24, but DWhistle shot 2-12. :lol

DWhistle was fresh too because he sat out most of training camp.
DWhistle didn't have any broken bones on his shooting hand.
DWhistle didn't have a bad knee that was drained twice during the 2010 playoffs.

Bottom line, Boston plays great team defense. However you know the drill:

Spin this shit Kobe haters! :downspin:

d-whistle, poor heat defense and great team play by the c's were the keys to the game. LOL @ haslem, having a career night scoring 21 points but his 3 homos still couldn't get the job done. lebrons 17 made freethrows were the only reason it wasn't a blowout, but stern has to make sure his son looks good on national tv. without the freethrows lebron would've looked like a joke just like the rest of his team. man, this regular season has been a pleasure to watch for all heat haters so far.

Let's just state the facts. The Celtics own the Heat. It will be a quick series if they met in the playoffs just like last year. Rondo is running circles on the Heat and Bosh's help defense is terrible.

That game had my favorite sequence of the season to date.

It went like this:

- Allen swishes yet another 3

- Allen becomes the living embodiment of smugness:

- Lebron goes I'MA JESUS SHUTTLESWORTH TOO http://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-saddowns.gif, dribbles upcourt, airballs a 3

While I'm sure the Heat will eventually get it together, I take great schadenfreude (or however you spell it) in their early-season discombobulations.

Vacationing, took a month of leave to visit family up in New Hampshire and Mass, then the wife's family in San Antonio. Got my kid's baptism done, first year birthday parties, visiting old friends, etc etc. :) How you been?

I think there's a very good chance he "unretires" around March and signs on with the Celtics.

Me too. He has our number, always has. If Perkins doesn't go down in Game Six Wallace impacts severely in both 6 & 7. Having Perkins out exhausted Wallace.

Yup. And Wallace really was a lion in that last game, couldn't have asked for more.

The big improvement this year that I see for the C's is rebounding. Dubious as Shaq's defense is, his size alone equals rebounds. (Same with the less talented O'Neal on our roster, who can't shoot for crap but can still get boards.)
