rockets
I was young enough to watch horrys 2 championships with the rockets in the 90s, dude was phenomenal 6-9 220 pounds can shoot the 3, and very athletic....him, carl harera, thorpe and olajuwon sure made mince meat out of the knicks lineup of ewing, oakley and mason
his offense>defense

lakers
the years at the lakers i didnt get to watch much of him cause i dont watch games spurs lose in, so i cant comment, but he was clutch...

spurs
he came here much bulkier and played mainly center/pf and you can see his defensive game improved alot that doesnt appear on the stat sheet, he took alot of charges, can still hit the clutch 3 and dunking it. his defense>offense

Trust me -- Horry's defense didn't improve in SA. He was a monster for LA.

The shot Vs. the Kings was my fave Horry moment. How he held there at the top of the arc whilst all in front of him was calamitous never fails to impress me. And then the closed eyelids afterwards as he was mobbed.

& he came to us all because Ainge deliberately threw an inbounds pass off the face of Mario Elie in the '94 playoffs. Horry made a move to retaliate, but, Elie warned him off.

Years later Horry ended up in the Phoenix and Ainge was coach. He avenged Elie then by throwing a white towel in Ainge's face in front of a TnT audience. Several days later Cotton shipped his ass to California for Ceballos.

Thanks, Ainge!

Horry putting Nash on his ass was the best IMO.

True, Muse, you guys usually didn't cheat, so I was pleasantly flabbergasted.

My favorite Horry memory is the stretch dunk and the 3 that sealed the deal late in the 4th in Detroit.

You'd a thought that Wallace would have learned from Webber's monumental mistake.

Nope.

i still remember that play against the knicks in the finals of 93/94...inbound alley oop dunk to beat the clock...

I never liked Horry. I consider him a big waste of talent. I always thought he had the physical tools to be a much better player but he never seemed to have the work ethic to improve his game.
