Damn Manu is taking a crazy amount of threes so far this season... around 8 a game IIRC... shooting them at a good clip though. Its always good to see him attacking but i think playing with TP allows him to get alot of open looks from the perimeter which is good for him. Playing with the bench means he is pretty much having to create and expend energy 90% of the time he is on the court.

I love how Splitter contests and alters shots that come into the paint. He just puts his long ass arms up, moves his feet and is real good at taking charges. Never tries to reach in. Makes it very hard for a ref to call a foul on him.

Anyways, real good 1st quarter. We slowed down a bit heading towards the end but I am sure we pick it up. I hope to see Splitter get some more minutes and be apart of the offense a little more since Anderson is gone and Duncan will probably not get too many minutes since its a back to back.

I don't know if it's Tony or Pop who insists on pressing for every 2-for-1 at the end of quarters. But when the quick shot isn't there I really wish they would just settle for one higher percentage shot. When they just jack one up, they wind up giving up points on the other end most of the time.
