Keep the focus on terrorism.

Don't get baited into a pissing match.

Ask Kerry to explain clearly how he would gather additional support for the war, and why he's so confident that countries like France and Germany would suddenly give their support with Kerry in office.

Say, in plain English, once and for all, there will be no draft under your administration. Don't leave any doubt or any room for "maybes".

Along those lines, Bush should state that the UK, Italy, and Australia were not coerced, bribed, nor are insignificant allies.

1. Demonstrate that it is your core values that make your leadership decisions and positions appear "simple" or "absolute," instead of "nuanced" or "complex."

2. Don't worry about the gaffes, it's what makes us human.

3. Don't get any botox injections, insta-tans, or $500 haircuts -- you wouldn't want to take the spotlight from Kerry in that respect.
