Folks,

There was a player called Len Bias!

And many say, that potentially, he was better than Jordan!

Any comments?

Thanks, appreciate it.....

He absolutely was better than Jordan. He was the greatest player to ever play the game despite never playing in the NBA.

He didn't need to win any championships or anything to prove this either since winning championships as a measure of greatness is just a recent phenomenon.

Bias > all

Len Bias was supposed to be the "Lebron James" of his time. I have to question if he was jacked up on coke when he was playing though.

Potential doesn't cut it if you never have the chance to live up, or down, to it. He was quite a talent though, wish we could have seen him in the league.

Aside from Piston Pete, I don't know if anyone had MJ's work ethic.

aside from WHO?

Think of it this way... For Jordan competition was his drug, he wanted more and more thus the foray (sp?) into baseball, since he was already pretty much GOAT (at least in his mind) at that time he wanted a new challenge. He thrived on it and did everything he could to get more. I mean look at him now, kinda strung out and confused a little.

Len Bias - I think we all know what his drug was.

I didn't see him play other than some highlights at the time so I can't make a perfect judgement here, but just based on the above, unless Len made superman look human, I can't see him being better overall than Jordan.

Piston Pete, the auto mechanic famous for crazy commercials out in LA.

I think he would have been better than Kobe, Lebron and Wade

He had hops, but he also had a great jump-shot
