sons we all knew the win streak wouldn't last forever. even the sun shines on a dogs ass every now and then. Props to Dallas for stepping up and capitalizing on the officiating that put them back into the ball game. Its all good though because the refs will be back on our side Wednesday night.

Son you going to blame the refs for all the losses that are about to pile up?

son not at all. if you watched this game then you would understand what I am talking about. the officiating won this game for Dallas ... however, we had our chance at the end and blew it. Ariza missed two WIDE ASS OPEN shots back to back. again, props to Dallas for capitalizing on the blatant favoritism ... a win is a win and Dallas took advantage of the help they were given.

sons I'm not taking anything away from Dallas. they stepped up and took advantage of the blatant favoritism that they were receiving from the refs in the second half ... all home teams receive it (some more than others). the Mavs also hit a ton of ridiculous, fluke shots as well. again ... even the sun shines on a dogs ass every now and then

exactly ... again sons this is not a knock against Dallas by any means. this is just how the NBA works ... the refs control each and every aspect of every game. its all about helping the home teams win so that the 15,000-20,000 people in the stands go home happily entertained and ready to come back next time and dish out another $100

Even though it's only November, this was the only time in their franchise history where they were actually discussed as serious contenders. This loss will sting more then teams like the Spurs and Mavs who have actually had a decade of success.

I love how it's always Lakers fans reciting this nonsense. It's their go-to line.

Talk about being too far in the forest to see the trees.

BR is absolutely right about the favorable officiating Nowitzki constantly receives. It's unbelievable that a guy who shoots as many fade and fallaway jumpers as he does, get's to the line as much as he does. Say what you want about the calls James, Wade, Durant, Bryant, etc. get, at least more often than not they're going into contact, which is generally how you get calls on a consistent basis. Not Nowitzki. He's above it. He can just flail and throw himself on the ground and voila! Next thing you know, he's on the line shooting two.

This is my first time commenting on this whole mouse issue...so forgive me if it goes on for a while....

Seriously, I'm all for openness online, mouse. I love me some social media. But in a very open searchable sports message board? I'm all for you moving on after a long term relationship. Go forbid you find some wonderful woman who tops the cherry to your sundae....I'm glad. But I don't need to know the details of the whole date. Swinging by some random thread and saying "Yah! Had a great date!" Is fine...but knowing all the red flags, her address, how many kids she had, and why she was a hoe....is not necessary. God only knows the site you've been pimping is going to be searched and is going to come up in google in this thread. And she'll find it...or so will some other potential date. You're a nerd..don't you google things before you use it? You're just hurting yourself by sharing all this stuff in an open forum, I think. And sure I could scroll past the thread..and I can...

If you want to share all this stuff get on facebook, myspace, etc. Something more private where people you can pick and choose who you share all this juicy information with. It's in your best interest if you're going to be talking about dirty details of post relationship dating. So potential dates don't find out you talk crap about them post date.

Yes, I might overshare here. You all know what type of work I do here. You may know the area of town I work in. You may know the part of town I work in. But you don't know the name of my company, what type of car I drive, what type of work my parents do, or my relationship details (or lack there of...honestly...) because there are some things that I don't think should be searchable for everyone in the whole world to find.

I'm just preaching caution. I overshare on facebook. Ask some of Spurstalk that are my friends there. They know too much about me (namely my obsession with Hanson and reality TV), but if you search my name on google you wouldn't know that...because if I was on a dating website those are kind of things i would want to tell my date...not something I would want them to know right off the bat.

I know it's your personality to share things here. And I may not help change your view on sharing the dirty details of every date or the failure of every date here...but I just want to know that it may be detremental to the future of your non-singleness to tell all of us about it.

And I doubt the feelings you have for Kim will go away quickly. I've never been married, been in a long term relationship, etc...but I've taken enough psychology classes, watched enough Lifetime movies and watched enough TLC specials on love to know that a month and a half, two months isn't enough time. Take some time for yourself. I know it's rough to be single. But ease into it. Don't think that the first date will lead to "Miss Right."

Here you have a perfect example why the Hornets will finish behind both the Spurs and Mavs in the division. When Paul goes down with his annual injury the Hornets lack of depth will show and a losing streak will ensue. Paul has averaged 13 missed games to injury each year in the league. It is unfortunate, but he has proven to be fragile over the years.

Crofl calls. All I saw in the last minutes was one team hitting crucial shots and another shitting the bed. The refs had nothing to do with it. Before any Hornets fan brings up officiating, take a long look at how that little bitch Paul throws himself into every player on the court and initiates contact. That horseshit will see his little gymnast body in a cast one day.

It's hard to take a team seriously when they start Marco Bellinelli and feature the amazing NBA talents of Willie Green and Jason Smith.

Two teams would play like shit when playing each other when both teams are playing good defense. Dallas normally doesn't play that way but you've got to give NO props for playing well defensively. We usually get our fair share of easy baskets but NO took those away, especially in the transition game. I watched SAS and I wasn't impressed much either. Besides you guys' schedule has been kind of cupcake for the most part.

I also agree that the reason the game seemed sloppy was because of good defense, which has been the staple of both teams so far this year. I was impressed with the Dallas defense, which is much improved than what I am used to seeing when watching a Dallas game. Despite some claims by certain Hornet fans, I don't think that officiating cost the Hornets the game. CP3's 4th foul early in the 3rd quarter was obvious. Dallas hit clutch shots in the last few minutes of the game, and they held CP3 scoreless in the 4th quarter. We will hopefully bounce back in NOLA tomorrow night.
