You can't tell from that camera angle but Barea was out there. If you notice there are only 4 Mavs in that camera shot. JJ was off of the camera to the left. That's who Wille Green was guarding.

ariza was guarding dirk, dirk missed the first attempt, ariza then switched to barea, because paul didn't guard him, green thought ariza still had dirk, couldn't see him because he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head. paul still standing under the basket guarding nobody.

It was poor defense all around. Green was terrible last night defensively. The only reason he's playing over Thornton is because of defense, but if he's going to let Terry drain all those threes, the Hornets might as well play Thornton because of his offense is so much better than Green's.
