...if recent history has anything to say about this game, it will be brutally close.

USC hasn't had that easy of a go up in Corvallis, so I wouldn't be surprised if this team struggles and loses or shows up to win a close one either. The Beavers will be surly after getting beat by the last place Cougs and that may spell disaster for the Trojans. Even so, if USC wins two of the last three games, I will be pleased. 9-4 will be a coup for this team that faced so much uncertainties in wake of the Bush incident, that 8-5 would, at least, in a symbolic sense feel like they went 10-3. I was and still am slightly sketchy over the longterm success of Kiffin and co., but it seems that he genuninely likes in in Exposition Park and hopefully he'll continue to get better as the HC of USC.

Dude, at 7-3 with Oregon State, Notre Dame & UCLA left...we are looking 10-3 in the face. I'm not saying it will happen, but it should. And a 10 win season...is fucking awesome.

USC did about as good as you could with what has happened to them.

Great game by the Beavs! We needed that. Hopefully we can get an upset at Stanford.

JGW...we'll be lucky to get to 9 wins with Barkley injured and the Fighting Irish playing inspired ball of late. The Beavers are always deadly in Corvallis they're as tight as can be up there in Oregon fall air...

I still believe Oregon St. can beat Oregon...
and I think Auburn will lose to Bama
how hilarious, and historically novel, would a BSU/TCU NCG be? :lol
3 straight bowl games against each other, from non-BCS to BCS to NCG, would be amazing

I hope that happens because that would obviously mean we win the Civil War. We can win that game. You never know what will happen in the Civil War.

Yeah, I agree. We need Barkley to be healthy, bad. Sucks...
