I really wouldn't mind bringing in a veteran PG like Antonio, he's vocal enough and has been around long enough. Even though he hasn't really been given a chance, I would bet that he's still better than Chris Quinn at this point.

I saw that too. I doubt he needs the money, maybe he just wants to ball.

When I clicked on the link, I was hoping K. Clark was Keon Clark. That would have really been a blast from the past.

As for AD, playing in the D-League gives him a chance to hook up with a desperate NBA team down the line that wants a veteran PG. Or, more likely, it's a stepping stone stone to a coaching career. The same path has worked so far for Randy Livingston.

Kinda sad though to see him in the Dleague. Haven't seen him play in awhile. Wonder if hes lost a step or two.

I remeber him from NBA live 99 when I couldn't dunk with him. He always missed.

I saw AD here in Frisco at a sandwich shop a couple weeks ago and posted a thread about it. I'll have to go check out a game or two - I imagine he won't be around all season.

saw him for a few minutes last night at he was hobbling. HOw can he play while hobbled? I guess he is desperate for an NBA contract. It was kinda sad to see him drag his leg around the court. A 14 year NBA veteran.

I think I'd rather play basketball than get a real job, even if it were D league. I fell asleep watching the game last night. Was nice to see AD playing.

A 14 year NBA veteran. He tweaked an ankle during the game. They only had nine players available, so guys were playing through their injuries. Kevin Clark cramped up on just about every play from the second quarter on.

Pretty sloppy game overall, but that is to be expected. I liked what I saw from Mickell Gladness as an athletic shotblocker. Want to see how he does with extended minutes this season.

Me too, just don't think there is much of a market for a 5'10" slow, white, guy that can occasionally hit a few 3's.

If i remember correctly, Daniels didn't exactly leave the Spurs on the best of terms. You would think he'd be an ideal candidate for a backup pg/g with the Spurs. Oh well.

Good luck to AD. I doubt he latches onto an NBA team unless theyre super desperate. Also doubt that he realistically believes that he'll find an NBA team, probably playing for the love of the game and perhaps a segway into a post basketball job.
