This 10-1 start is pretty good but I have a very bad feeling about this season. Our offense is carrying us but Spurs basketball has always been about defense and our defense is already getting exposed. James Anderson is out for 8 weeks and Manu/Timmy are starting to show their age. I think it's finally time to put those two on the trading block just to see what we can get for them because this thing is already going downhill:depressed

Timmy said last night, himself, this is the best he's felt in years. Manu is playing terrifically, and TP is having a career season.

And our defense is improving game-by-game. What in the world are you on? I'm not saying we'll have a 60-win season.

SMH Tim has had a great last two games and Manu has played excellent so far this year, showing their age? Manu is playing his best since that late stretch in 08 before he got hurt :nope:nope. What have you been watching?

We're 2nd in the league in scoring. 2nd in the league in 3-point percentage. 5th in assists. 5th in rebounding. We're the 4th best in opponent rebounding. 4th in steals. We're 10-1, tied for best in the league and can be best in the league by tonight, and we're undefeated on the road. And we haven't lost a game yet when we score over 100 points.

I don't know about you, but I think things look pretty good right now. :toast

I'm so sick of hearing about the suppose lack of defense. Sure, the defensive field goal and three-point percentages (that one in particular) don't look great, but overall, this team is 7th in defensive efficiency and better yet, getting progressively better by the game. And they're doing this without Anderson and mostly without Splitter, who figure to make them better defensively.
