Had the Spurs pushed the tempo just a bit more, they could have had 9 players in double figures tonight.

Nine. Blair, Duncan, and Hill all finished with 8 points. Six Spurs scored in double figures.

We also had 6 players record at least one steal tonight. Pretty amazing. This team is already as deep as any in the league, and that's with Mr. Anderson in dress clothes.

Once Quinn and Green get some PT, watch out league.

That is amazing!

This team is still so raw and yet they are showing great heart and chemistry so uncharacteristically early in the season!

(it is a bit funny to say if they pushed the tempo... they did score 116 pts...LOL)

Now lets not get too excited. Quinn and Green are the 12th and 13th men off the bench, PT or not, they will probably still be the 12th and 13th men off the bench

Green is an enigma. Sure, he has 20 games of experience from last year. But he was by no means a major player on that team. He could be a nice surprise, but will most likely be a fringe player and project.

Still it was nice to see him step up and knock down a few long shots. Might have something to do with him getting a few quality minutes against his old team though...

The point is we're gonna take the Lakers' crown this year. Book it.

Hill still can't run the team, thankfully Manu and Tony have fresh legs.

And the good thing is we're not old anymore ! Two of our big4 are under 30, and most of our bench is young too, and we still get that experience stuff with the championships of the Big3 and our coach. I never saw a Spurs team that deep.

Probably this will be meaningless come playoff time.

Here's another interesting stat:

Spurs Win With Balanced Scoring
From Elias: Tony Parker scored a team-high 19 points in San Antonio's 116-92 triumph over Cleveland. It was only the second game in the last three seasons in which the Spurs scored more than 115 points without an individual player contributing at least 20 points.
