Well, here it is. The Iron Bowl. Everything you really could want in a big game is here. The Cam Newton fiasco, national title implications, great defense vs great offense, and 2 of the most rabid fanbases in America packed into a 100 g+ sized stadium.

Tbh, i'm too nervous to inject a prediction at this point. This game almost never turns out the way it's supposed to, as last year proved yet again.

For now, I guess I'll just say War Damn Eagle!

Seems like everyone is taking Bama, which bodes well for the Tigers. They'll be rested and highly motivated on friday

I said at the beginning of the season if Cam Newton got his shit together that the Tigers would beat Bama, I just didn't expect them to be undefeated at this point. Can't back down now. Bammer's going down.

Bama has all the psychological advantages in this game, and they are 4 1/2 point favorites.

But GO WAR EAGLE!!!!!!!

p.s. when my dad and brother played there eagles were still the mascots.

Well, the Auburn defense is holding and the TIgers have a chance now to get this within one score.

Those two fumbles in the first half by Bama and the dropped TD have come back to haunt them. Auburn has the momentum.

wow... How can this happen? Auburn... I just don't know what to think

I should know better than to give up on the Tigers so early

Goggans and the Blanc coming off their 1st half suspension has definitely made a difference

The bama fags came out too high emotionally and they're looking a bit gassed by the end of the 3rd quarter. If Newton and Auburn want this game it's theirs.

Holy shit I was not expecting the Tigers to come back like that. I thought for sure with Bammer and their closeted faggot QB going nuts in the first half that we were done for. Proud of this team, be even prouder if they pull out the W.

Hahahaha suck it Bammer! One point win did not see that coming!

Congrats to Auburn. This is a special team.

Also congrats to the BCS. Looks like they will get their special matchup again. Last year Bama-Texas, this season Auburn-Oregon. No need for a playoff I guess :(

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!?!?!?!?

Congratulations to the War Eagles!!!!!

I don't know how this happened exactly, and I just watched it!!

Bama just lost focus, didn't they?

Did you see how the Auburn defense strengthened after those idiots who had hurt their team by getting themselves thrown out for the first half came back in??

Bama had a chance to put it away in the 2nd quarter, but they couldn't and Auburn took advantage. Can't see Cam Newton losing, even against Oregon.

Auburn should move up to number one in my opinion.

Damn...Auburn showed some pretty huge nuts to come back from being down 24-0 in a hostile environment against the defending champs...

impressive comeback. not surprised auburn came back, but a little in how it was done. either way auburn is one game from the title.

Auburn should move up to number one in my opinion.

I actually think that they will, don't you? I mean, they handed the defending champs a come-from-behind victory, even while they (Auburn) were still making big mistakes themselves.

I swear I think that Auburn just took 'Bama's emotional guts away from them in the first half of the third quarter. I was surprised that Bama folded the way they did, but you gotta give some props to Auburn's D in the second half.

Somebody is making some damn fine coaching modifications for Auburn at the half.

And Bama just never could get control of how many people to have on the field when Auburn would use the hurry-up offense.

Seriously, think about if Auburn had their entire defeinsive line for the whole game (which they didn't deserve to have...I don't disagree with the refs in the Georgia game calling what they did) and if that idiotic call against Fairley in the first half of this game hadn't kept Bama alive in that one run, this game would have been a lot closer in the first half, and the eventual result might not have been such a surprise.

But watching Bama in the first half, I found myself wondering how they ever lost two games this year, and then in the second half...it became clearer.

About half of my family is miserable at the result of this game...but the GOOD half (MINE) is thrilled. My late dad and all of his brothers are in heaven chortling at this.

well, i've slept and rewatched most of the game and I still don't know what to think. This game, assuming it's not vacated at some point, may well replace Punt Bama Punt as the greatest game ever in a series chock full of greatest games ever (at least from an Auburn perspective). Astounding.

Never in my years of watching college football, spanning 3 decades, have I seen a team more adept at coming from behind, making key adjustments at halftime, and never giving up. Never giving up like my sorry ass did when the Tigers were down 24-0.

Chizik made some calls, specifically on two 4th down situations, that confirm his balls are made of brass.

Ted Roof called a fantastic second half, and the defense really deserves credit for this win, something I haven't been able to say all year. I was getting the stake and gasoline ready for him in the first half, but again, this is why I'm sitting on the couch as a humble fan.

I'm just numb, but you can bet every single Bammer in my family got a text saying...
