Who knows how much money gets thrown around by the government without being documented or checked out? Not me, and it'll never be something we can actually regulate from the outside looking in.

There's shady deals going on all the time. Smaller govt? Yes, please...but THIS stuff is something that'll never go away. Shit, we even went to war over ONE SINGLE motherfucker saying he had info...smaller govt. ain't going to fix that when everyone else was saying that dude was making shit up.

It occurred to me that there is also an outside chance that the guy really is who he first claimed to be and the story about him being a fake was cooked up as a cleverly orchestrated cover.

But the more likely scenario is that this is exactly the failure it appears to be.

Don't forget that Chalabi was one of the main, if not the main, source on intel pre-Iraq invasion. He convinced bush an company (like they needed a reason) of the evils of saddam hussein...
