She didn't make that quote. Tina Fey did, impersonating her. She said you could see Russia from Alaska, which is a statement of fact. Those of you thinking she was stupid for her remark on that are the ignorant ones.

is going to have to work overtime pulling those strings
so Obama can remember there are 50 states instead
of 57 and that the Muslims didn't come over on the
Mayflower. And not one signed the Declaration of
Independence. Dammit.
