Just got a text from someone in the arena saying CP was busy holding a conversation with Lil' Wayne on the sideline during the last few timeouts. Down by 10 and that's all you can do while everyone is being coached?

smh.

pimp seats, son. You need to go to the Bee's forum and straighten those guys out.

BTW, did you vote yet?

sons many Hornets fans won't even admit it, but I have been preaching this for over a month now. Hell I was even banned from another Hornets board for questioning Chris Paul's play in the second half ... It is a legit concern. Sure he is putting up solid numbers, but not superstar numbers. It has been a constant problem since about the 6th or 7th game of the season and especially over the last 8 games. Any Hornets fans who deny this or try to make excuses for it is simply being a homer. Chris has not been himself in the second halves of games this year with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 games.

son I have been banned from all Hornets boards. I don't curse at anyone, threaten, or anything rude like that. I just simply question the organization and some of the moves they make and that is a HUGE no no with both Hornets message boards. I was recently banned for calling Chris Paul out for his lack of production in the second half this season. How pathetic is that? What REAL fan doesn't criticize their team? ... should we just ignore all the negatives and only make post such as "GO TEAM GO!!!"??

If that's the culture of those forums, I'd look at the bannings as a favor.

son its really pathetic and I'm not alone with Hornets fans getting banned there. Mainly on HornetsReport and TigerDroppings (which has a Hornets section) ... I mean I could understand if you are on there blatantly trolling to try and piss people off, but that wasn't the case at all. I'm clearly a Hornets fan and want the best for the team, but I'm also not a blind, delusional homer either. There is nothing wrong with questioning the efforts of players, team owner, etc. or exposing the facts about our star player playing like complete dog shit this season in the second half.

Paul's injuries have robbed him of explosiveness tbh, and isn't his knee supposed to continue to wear down as the season progresses?? :wow

son I'm beginning to realize this is why Paul is so obsessed with winning now. I have some sources close to the team who say Paul really does love New Orleans and the Hornets organization (although he's not a big fan of Shinn), but he really wants to win now and I believe its because of his knee. Only the future will tell if he will still be a top point guard 3 years from now, 5 years from now, 7 years from now, or even 1 year from now.

It can take 2 years to recover from real bad knee injuries. We may not see the old CP3 until next season on a consistent basis.

I think he's always going to be very good, but this was someone already starting to be compared to Hall of Famers (even though it was premature tbh). The Hornets organization really did improve the team as best as they could considering they really didn't have that many pieces to work with. Its going to be interesting what happens in CP3's career in the near future.

On a side note though BR, would you trade CP3?
