Has anyone else noticed the return of the TEAM in sports championships lately?
No ME FIRST superstars, at the expense of their teammates, no contract re negotiating talks in the middle of the season, no police blotter appearances, no rap CDs, just unselfish team ball.
The Patriots, Spurs and Pistons are all business, they all play with one goal in mind, they all have professional coaches that set high standards and demand discipline from their players.
The superstar era is thankfully taking a backseat to team ball and maybe, just maybe the youngsters will take note and sports will better for it.
Props to these great championship teams and their staffs.
