Did you ever think you would see the day? The Spurs are tied for 5th in the league for the best FT%!!! They also are being called for the fewest fouls per game of any team in the league. And their 9.00 average winning margin is tops in the league passing the Lakers last night. It is good to be part of Spurs Nation!!!!:flag:

I was thinking the same thing, I have noticed a big difference at the line. Hopefully they can continue the good shooting, they will need good FT shooting against the elite teams in the league...In the past this has been the difference in the game many times. I have also noticed a better rebounding team as well.

Manu is like 91% and George is like 88%, and Tim rarely goes to the line any more, so his 68% doesn't matter.

If we could hit FTs consistently we would be simply unstoppable.

Yes it sure is a good year to be a Spurs fan! :) I was expecting them to be better than last year, but look how good they are playing! Their defense is finally coming together.

i think this is a big reason as to why we are 15-2, it kinda goes unnoticed tho.

I agree. While the Spurs have taken only 4 more shots than their opponents this year, they have taken 104 more 3 pt shots making 47 and have 92 more free throw attempts making 98 more. 98 more FT and 47 more baskets with an extra point equate to 145 more points or over 8.5 points per game. The Spurs average margin of victory has been 9 points per game.
