View Full Version : CP3 is just a good PG now.

No more talk of him being an elite player or especially superstar. Basically, he's a very good PG and can't carry a team offensively.

He'll be the best again once he goes to his new team..

Seriously though..how is it that you, BR and fevertrees all show up together every single time?..

You guys are swagger jacking our thing(HH, Ace, MH, CR)..

He's not good enough to be the best. He can't shoot off the dribble anymore and doesn't have any explosion going to the basket. Plus his defense has regressed again. Unless his knee heals or he gets microfracture surgery, he won't be the best PG anymore.

I really respect Ginobili as a player. He's awesome. The Hornets have always lacked a SG like him. Seriously a great player.

Honestly, teams figured out CP3 and the Hornets. Basically stop allowing CP3 to penetrate to the basket and guard everyone else forcing CP3 to shoot off the dribble and he can't anymore.

for the record look at all my posts, you'll see I wanted this piece of trash traded the second I heard about the meniscus surgery

a year or two away from being totally useless

I'm confused - was Jarrett Jack supposed to be the focal point of the Peja trade?

Peja throwing up a big "fuck you" to New Orleans for trading him away - 70% fromt he field, 67% from 3 point land, 10 PPG in 11 minutes/game.

Hell, he wasn't even struggling this year with the hornets.

What was the point of the trade?

No way is Rondo #7.

Yes Jarrett Jack was the focal point.

The trade was about saving wear and tear on Paul and his knees by limiting his minutes.

sons Jarrett Jack is the biggest piece of fucking shit to ever wear a Hornets uniform ... that trade was made ONLY because he is a longtime personal friend of Chris Paul. The Hornets were going to unload Peja regardless, but they jumped the gun to try and keep Paul happy by bringing his friend here. Bayless was not a great backup, but he was far better than Jack.

rondo is very close to the others, but i put him 7 because of his poor shooting, especially from the FT line. you cannot be a poor FT shooter at the PG position. you put your team at risk when your best ball handler cant knock down FTs at the end of a game.

NBA PGs today are like the western conference, 1-7 is only seperated by a few games.

Well said on second part but I feel that the way that Rondo can facilitate the offence and rack up as many assists that he does it does make up for his scoring ability a bit but good point

I still don't understand why you guys traded Bayless, the kid's nasty. He has a lot of potential from what I've seen, I don't know if he'll put it all together though. But still Paul and Bayless could have been a nice combo.

He's a step slow right now. Would help if he dropped a few pounds. But I think it takes an NBA player a year to really recover from a major injury. Remember how bad Garnett looked last year? Or how bad Kidd looked after his microfracture?

I think Paul will be back to close to where he was before if he wants to be.

15.7 points, 4.6 assists, 10.5 steals, and 3 .1 steals is pretty damn amazing for a player who seems to have "lost a step" .....
