During the Spurs infamous 1997 tank job season.

Lol, how do they let a 52 year old Dominque go off for 28 points in 26 minutes? Guess Pop didn't give him the memo that the Spurs were supposed to tank.

Wilkins still averaged over 18 ppg that season. What's even funnier about that box score is the Spurs allowing Sean Rooks to score 20 points. His dominating days with the Mavs were way behind him, as he was averaging less than 4 ppg that season. :lol

edit: oh and also 12 rebounds...he averaged 2.4 for the season... :rollin

Spurs were already 18-54 at that point and were extremely unlikely to catch Boston and Vancouver for a worse record. Nique pretty much played that entire season trying to rack up as many points as possible to get higher on the all time scoring list. He had a bunch of 25+ point games and a few 30+ point games that season. Nique knew his time was up and was going to get as many points as he possibly could. Easier to do that as a late 30s NBA player on a lottery team.

I don't really find that all that funny or interesting.

Translation: I don't like this thread because it seems to make fun of the Lakers, who are my adopted Western Conference team.

Anyhow, the Spurs were still in a "battle" with Philly and Denver for the 3 spot, so if you're implying that they gave up on tanking because they couldn't catch Boston and Vancouver, I don't agree with that, because there was still 2 other teams to worry about for the 3rd worst record.

so now you're saying you don't agree that they gave up tanking? so they were tanking? which one is it?

Yahoo! had a box score where Robert Horry had a DNP. But it wasn't a DNP-CD, or a DNP-Injury. It was

Robery Horry - DNP - Old Age.

How can you complain? I understand you gay-porn, rick-rolled the forum like crazy.

Then today, to celebrate your pinking, you are posting some dumb pic in every thread.

:wtf

I get it, you miss your little banned friends. But come on, your trolling used to be better than this.
