You want the real answer?
Ian got caught up in a numbers game. Limited spots & money and between all of the injuries, the drafting of Blair, the re-signing of Bonner & bringing Tiago over he just did not make the cut.
The Spurs seemingly liked him, but they had to make a decision with regards to trying to win now.

Lol good one..
Ian is very raw. Can't say much because your mavs have the balls to play him and Pop never did.
But the mavs picked up our leftovers. Ian <<< McDyess, Blair, Splitter, and Duncan. So he would have never saw the floor this year anyways.

Noob-take it down a notch. It was the against the Warriors.
Ian is athletic but he's still pretty raw and will have a good game mixed with not so many good games. Had a real good game tonight though.
I'm happy for Ian he worked his tail off in SA, he just was never good enough for Pop and With Splitter coming there just wasn't enough money to keep him. And, you know Pop had to dole out the dough for the Red Rocket much to the chagrin of many Spur fans including myself:lol

You're really becoming tiresome. Take the time to look things up before you post.
Before tonight's game, Ian had played 39 minutes in the first 20 games of the season. He had only one game where he played more than 4:07 and that was when Haywood was suspended. He played tonight because Chandler was sick. It remains to be seen if Ian will get playing time in games where Chandler and Haywood are both fit to play.

He brags about the Mavs beating the Spurs...so I throw out the ol 4 championships boast...then he claims I'm "clinging to the rings"...so I say he's "clinging to an early regular season win" while also bragging that despite that one win the Spurs still have the best record
so basically I win both ways and you're a moron :king

it's always for financial reasons when spurs let a quality player go, and they will soon find him doing great elsewhere. spurs just can't afford to pay even one dime of luxury tax, and it was for the same reason they lost luis scola.

you should know better. Mavs fans are too fucking stupid to know how to count. They're convinced that their zero Championships makes them a better team than the 4-Championship Spurs, so its a lost cause. you can lead a Mavs fan to numbers, but you can't make him think. they're fucking dumb-asses.
