"I’m definitely watching and learning. Every game we play I’m tuned in like I’m out there on the court. I’m paying attention to all of the little details and asking myself “What can I take from this? What can I learn?”."

I hope he can come back 100%.

Spurs (mostly Manu) really need him for stretches.

Get well, James.

Hope he can make a speedy recovery. He was playing great out there.

He was playing the best rookie ball for the spurs since manu and duncan... he would of been a 1st team all rookie lock....:depressed

I hope he can come back into the lineup and bring it again straight up, it will feel like for him he's first game again.
I was hoping to see him playing full tilt by now.

Pop pregame w/James Anderson injury update. "It will still be several weeks before he'll be able to get on the court at all."

Just imagine how even better the Spurs would be right now if Anderson was on the bench again........

We can use his defense/3 pt shooting. I'm not worried about getting him back soon, I'm worried about making sure he's a high level when he returns. We don't need a 75% James Anderson early in the season when we can get a healthy one later when it counts more.

...Rookie swingman James Anderson is scheduled for another MRI exam on his injured right foot late this week but remains weeks away from getting back on the court, according to Popovich.

...“He’s working out in the pool, and they’re going to take another picture on Friday,” Popovich said.

I hope he's good by mid January. This kid's gonna be big for us.

I hope the same doctor who worked with Ian's foot isn't on the case. :lol

thanks for the heads up!

James Anderson is one of my favorite Spurs with what he showed on the handful of games he played! :)

has he been with the team, at least during local games? I mean, for watching & learning...

He's always in a suit on the bench

Just imagine how even better the Spurs would be right now if Anderson was on the bench again........Ah, don't remind me!!!

But this kid just needs to heal up, and take whatever time he needs. He's out, so just stay out until you are 100%. No need to come back 70%. Spurs are playing just fine.

But damn do I wish he wasn't injured. We would be balling right now! :lobt2:
