Another sad case of an over trained athlete being victimized for having a legitimate syndrome.

Ace says we're the only Laker fans he respects.Try not to cry when you read this news. Tell them it isn't what they think. That's glitter running down you're cheek.

Mayo is gonna have to play strong inside linebacker now on every down rather than just passing downs, and the difference between Mayo at WILB and SILB is pretty big. His most noticeable weakness is getting off blocks, something that's a way bigger problem at SILB. Guyton-Mayo is a good combo against the pass but it gets run all over on 1st and 2nd down. This'll hurt them more than most would think.
True, they'll be more susceptible to the run, but it shouldn't have too big a difference on the outcome of games b/c they're playing the 17, 18, 22, and 23rd rushing defenses to finish the year. The saddest part is that Buffalo is 17th. Pats will be just fine. 13-3 at the worst.

True for the most part. This hurts them the most against Chicago because Chicago is a running team and a good team they're playing on the road. Guyton would get most of the snaps against Green Bay regardless, Buffalo is Buffalo, and Miami they're playing at home so they should find a way to win. They need a bye though because Mayo will need a week to recover after playing SILB on every down.
Yeah Chicago's finally started running more, but GB doesn't seem to give a shit about the ground game. GB or CHI might give them an L, but otherwise it'll be 13-3, #1 seed, and first round bye barring a collapse.
...and is it any wonder that the Bears are suddenly damn good on 3rd downs and Cutler looks more confident, yet Favre and the Vikings look inept on 3rd?
Chester fucking Taylor....

Eh, kinda sucks. Don't think it's a huge gamechanger in the overall scheme of things.
