For some reason Duncan always makes the highlights on ESPN...Yeah....everytime he gets abused in the post or gets rejected by smaller PFs, really embarrasing if you ask me.

IMHO, FWIW, Tin Duncon isn't very good, but he's only relieving Tim Duncan until the playoffs TBH.

If I'm not mistaken after that block Josh Smith had to sit down with cramps :lol

So you tell me who had the worst of it :toast

To be perfectly honest, I don't recall and/or read of anyone asking you.
And if you are truly honest with yourself (doubtful) you probably meant to say "rarely, but happens".
Right? 'Ca, mon, admit it. You know you want to! :hat
BTW, the winner of that game was .................

Funny you mention a Wizard of Oz character, since you're rocking all three in MIA.

Tin Man - Wade, no heart, throws coach under the bus
Cowardly Lion - Bosh. No need to elaborate
Scarecrow - LeBum, nothin but stuffin' inside.

Yeah, no shit. It happens to all great players every now and then. It's no secret that Duncan is aging, and Josh Smith is crazy athletic. Props to him.

Who won the game anyway?

That made me sad. :(

Then again, Smith isn't like a defensive flake by any means either.

Timmy got scoreboard though, and I'm sure that is ALL he cares about.

Maybe Smith will hang the picture up in his locker like LeBron did. Then Duncan could offer to sign it for him. :wakeup

To me, you have Wade and LeBum misplaced, but nice analogies anyway. :toast

I guess Josh Smith got his period, since he left the game w/ cramps.

Every Hall of Famer has been blocked in his career. Plus, I don't even think anyone else in the league would be brave enough to try and dunk on Smith, given his ultra athletic ability, and his size. Smith would have packed anyone doing that shot.

& shut the fuck up, because Tim Duncan spanked Lebron's pussy ass in the 07 finals, swept bitch! & if when we meet the faggot ass Heat this season, we're going to beat that ass by 20 points.

Why in december would a fan of an eastern conference team pay so much attention to the Spurs out west? Are you jealous or scared. You remember what we did to lebron in game 2007, and you know what we would've done to your heat in 2006 if not for the phantom foul call on Manu.

we will see where atlanta will be at the end of the season and where san antonio and tim duncan are gonna do....
it's funny no one mentions how duncan blocked dwight the other night a couple of times but when timmy gets blocked it's the story of the day and it's good that the spurs are underrated....20-3 to be underrated...cheers

The thing that makes Duncan (and the Spurs) great is that even such a poster-of-a-block -- to them -- is just a miss.

Duncan might as well have clanked a 12 foot bank shot.

That block had no carryover and no psychological bonus got tallied to keep on giving -- witness the final score of the very game in question.

Look carefully, you'll see a little smile from Duncan after the block.

Yes, and since your opinion really counts, I'm sure the HOF voters will be calling you to ask your opinion on one of the greatest power forwards that's ever played the game. :lol
