Cool. Early game and the game's also on our Sports channel, so at least I'll be watching a clean picture. Finally.
Portland right now looks pretty good. 4 wins in a row just like we. I expect a close game. Spurs by 5.

I think it will be important that Dejuan Blair can compete with Camby or Aldridge.
And the Lakers have big problems with the Nets right now ... Nuggets and Hornets already lost ... could be a good Sunday.

I defenitely see a 1st quarter defecit as well. This team is a creature of habit and highly susceptible to subtle changes such as the starting game time. Spurs will come out lethargic and cold shooting and Matthews is going to be on fire.
Unfortunately I don't see it turning around until the 4th quarter and it will be too late unless the young guys (Hill & Blair) can once again both carry the team on their shoulders.

I don't see Portland being able to score enough points to keep up with the Spurs. The Blazers depth off the bench is terrible and Roy can't do it all alone every night. Anything could happen especially if the Spurs are cold at the 3pt line, but I expect a Spurs win by 10+.

Good half overall. George with a huge boost of energy and the Spurs are getting good 3PT looks off of ball movement and they are falling. Spurs held them to 40 points on 42% FG and have done a decent job on the glass.

So 3 years of waiting for this? Just to see him sparsely play through every-now-and-then games? The worst part of it all is that there will very well be no season next year. So second year = real-time third year.

Oh, the drama. Yes, let's criticize Pop for what's fucking working.
Question: How many times do you want to see Tiago dunked on on one end and rejected on the other? His game is pure Charmin, and Pop is trying to spare him the humiliation against some of the bigger more physical front lines.
Spurs are just toying with teams tbh.
Last two games anytime the opponent gets close, they just up the intensity and raise the lead back up. This team is awesome to watch <3

I know I'm not the only one here who believes that Tiago will greatly improve once he consistently plays a good chunk of minutes. I just hope Pop gives him a chance by giving him a lot of PT for a few games.

Look on the bright side, Splitter fans. If Pop keeps managing this game the same way through the 3rd, McMillan will probably pull the plug, and Charminago might get some blowout time.
Dice is a solid defender tbh...

Tiago's not getting any clock when the Spurs are rolling. I don't see much chance of him getting much floortime when we plateau out, or have an inevitable down/low spell.

Given the circumstance Tiago has dunked. Charge = possession back to the Spurs. Block = A good chance the other team gets it back. You obviously care more about stats the smart, quality defense. I wasn't actually sure if you were a waste of time before, now I know.

To me, passive is soft. It's also the reason he;'s nailed to the bench. Pop would rather have mistakes of aggression than flipping up some little trash in the lane on O, or backing up to a guard penetrating the lane. Attack the fucking shot. Attack the fucking rim.
