Just saw the score. Brutal. Big surprise. CP3 quit on this team earlier. Now the rest of the team is following his lead.

Atleast he's back to being a leader.

Knicks scored 35 in the first quarter against the Nuggets.
Hornets scored 29 midway through the third against Philly.

48 PTS in the 4th? Not watching the game, but CP3 seems to be scoring well.

Paul did score but ... he and the team are never clicking at the same time either he is not aggressive in the 4th or he plays well and the rest of the team sucks ...

I am mystified by this team's play. They are top five in the league defensively, yet bottom six offensively. They have literally given away games to the Spurs, Mavericks, Thunder (twice) and the Clippers. They make absolutely no half time adjustments, yet act surprised when good teams correct their first half mistakes and take control in the second.

Chris Paul has become a pass first, pass second and pass third guard, especially if it is the last few minutes of a close game. The only time he steps up to take shots is when the game is out of reach.

Belinelli and Ariza pass up open 3's all the time to dribble and do... I don't even know what the hell they try to do. Belinelli forces up layups or fadeaways and Ariza dribbles the ball off his foot, shakes his head and then walks away.

Okafor must think he is Steve Nash or Ray Allen, because he never goes straight up when he gets the ball in the paint. He gets the ball and waits to be fouled, so he can go 1-2 at the line.

The bench is terrible, too. Jason Smith used to play with some grit, but now he bricks open jumpshots and fouls guard 30-feet away from the rim. Willie Green chucks, Jarret Jack turns it over and Mbenga goaltends. Marcus Thornton doesn't get any playing time because apparently, teams don't need offense when they have good defense.

To repeat myself, this team cannot hold a lead against a good team. They blew a ten point fourth quarter against the Mavs, a seventeen point halftime lead against the Spurs, a six point fourth quarter lead against the Thunder and eight point lead against the Knicks. They cannot keep their composure and are shut down all the time. Hell, they don't even need to be shut down. They'll just as likely turn the ball over and brick jumpshots.

Fuck.

Paul drops 25 points, I think that is his first time to crack the 20 point mark since the first week of the season? ... yet they still get completely owned.

Of course. Fans like to blame the knee brace, but his health problems magically go away when the Hornets are losing by 20 points. He'll attempt moves he never does anymore to score then.

son its crystal clear what he is doing. he is taking the year "off" AKA just going through all the motions and taking it easy so that he doesn't get injured again while playing hard on a team he doesn't want to be on. He is just counting down the days until he is traded. I guarantee you the MOMENT he gets traded to another team he will suddenly start dropping 20+ and 10+ every single game.
