Are you a Giants fan? Again I wouldn't overrate the Giants if I were you. They aren't a lock for shit. There are 2 teams in the NFC that are better than them....the Eagles and the Saints. Everyone is sleeping on the Saints which I find amusing. They are only the defending champions. The Eagles have OWNED the Giants over the past 2 years.

The Colts were a bad Manning throw away from beating them in Foxboro. If they're relatively healthy they have a small chance at beating New England, but they're a terrible cold weather team so winning in Foxboro is never easy for them.

I don't think the Eagles will make the superbowl, their defense sucks, the O-line is overrated and I'm still expecting Vick to have a very bad game, no way he can keep this up for 6/7 more games, he's way too streaky for that. Saints, Giants, Bears would beat them if they meet in the playoffs (for some reason I have faith in them beating the Falcons and of course any team will beat whoever comes from the west).

I will be pulling for them because of Vick but I don't see them getting very far.

They have the longest winning streak in the league right now at 7. During that they've beaten the Bucs (twice), rams, ravens, and packers. They have the the 5th best scoring offense, 7th best scoring defense and are 4th in turnover differential. They are the least penalized team in the league. They most likely will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs where Matt Ryan is 19-1 career. Kicker is clutch, receivers and Rb's are clutch and Matty Ice has 13 4th quarter come from behind wins in less than 3 years. Anyone who thinks some team is just going to roll the Falcons in the NFC isn't paying attention.

I don't see why everyone thinks Philly is so great. They're solid yes, but I don't see any reason why they are heads and shoulders the favorites to make the Superbowl. They're just the most explosive team in the league (maybe 2nd to the Patriots) but when push comes to shove, I'll take a Matt Ryan or Drew Brees led team any day over them. Maybe even the Giants. I can agree that nothing jumps out at you if you haven't watched their games. They haven't gotten any national attention really and therefore haven't been pumped up like the Steelers, Patriots, Ravens and others.

I do know that. It was in Philly and they jumped on them early. I take nothing away from them, but the Falcons defense plays different at home and with Mike Vick coming back to town, it'd be a giant game. I'm not saying they're unbeatable, but they're less beatable than the other NFC teams. To be honest, as a fan I was thinking next year would be their year to run to the SB because I think the defense is missing a vocal leader.

Ryan (3 games) and Turner were hurt last year and they still had a 9-7 record. In fact since Ryan and Mike Smith have been there they are 31-12. Denver 2008 is Ryan's only loss at home.

I agree with this romad_20 guy, the Falcons are getting very overlooked. One of the best HFA's in the NFL and the best record in the NFC. They also have an extremely versatile offense. The can control the ball and run if they want to, but they don't need an established run to pass. Their no huddle offense is one of the best in football, and as mentioned their kicker has ice water in his veins. They are equipped to win in a grind it out game and in a shoot out, I'd take them over the Eagles and Saints right now easily.

Id take the Eagles. Vick is playing out of his mind now. The best QB outside of Brady this year.
