Besides, if you've been watching this game a really long time, you'd find that the NBA has some history with a few Centers who have won LOB's at 6'8 or smaller. But really, what makes LakaBandwagon think he knows what lineup will stick?

23 games in, with LAL bigs playing over 35 mins, Duncan is rested and resting and will continue to rest saving his best time for the playoffs by destroying enemy posts. 3 long years of going deep into the playoffs, Odom playing World Championships, and Bynum going Johannesburg before Surgery. Sounds like a recipe for another title...OR NOT.

For the Spurs to have any shot, Tony Parker will have to be the guy leading the way. Artest will latch onto Manu and make him work. Not saying Manu won't still get some offense in, but only a blind Spurs homer would overlook what Artest can (still) do on the defensive end. Kobe would more than likely stick with Jefferson (he wouldn't have to work too hard on defense and would dare RJ to drive on him into the bigs down low). Duncan probably won't be doubled, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to score at will on Gasol.

Not counting on any consistent offense from Blair, that leaves the Parker - Fisher/Blake matchup. This is our lone advantage lineup wise (everything else is either even or in the Laker's favor, imo). If Parker is aggressive and on target with his jumper, he should average 25 ppg against LA. Hill should be able to chip in work as well. If that happens, and Manu can go shot for shot with Kobe, and Duncan can force LA to work on defense down low, and, most importantly, guys like RJ, Neal and Bonner can make wide-open shots when they get them, SA can beat LA. imo, that's what it'll take, because LA won't hand the Spurs the series (well, unless they consistently give Artest the ball in the final minutes of each game).

IMO before this season Spurs big 3 had to play 110% for Spurs to even have a chance at competing with LA.

This year with LA's dropoff and Spurs role players surge, it's different. As long as big 3 are healthy, it's all up to the rest of the cast, if they bring what they been doing in regular season and increase the D intensity, they will not only compete, but win.

It will all be dependent on how teams are playing come April/May not now no matter how seriously you want to take this game.

If it is your own private Game 7, don't let me get in the way, lol.

Kobe will probably bring it because that's just what he does, still doesn't amount to shit at the end of the day and in my estimation the Spurs and Lakers won't even meet in the playoffs because the Spurs will fail to advance far enough to make that happen for the 3rd consecutive year.
