sons tonight in New Orleans the Kings take on Trevor Ariza and his Hornets. These two teams represent two of the absolute worst, front running fan bases in all of professional sports. They are also both the bottom feeders in NBA attendance with the Hornets currently averaging 13,600 per game and the Kings currently averaging 13,400 per game. Keep in mind though sons that the Hornets attendance has been on a steady downhill pace for about the last 6 weeks with their lowest game barely breaking 10,000. With the way they are currently playing and the majority of the players showing next to no effort whatsoever, I predict tonight to be the lowest attendance of the year...

Just you and a few old black guys that won't stop playing their obnoxious jazz music until you throw a couple a' dollars at 'em.

sons never mind the attendance may be over 10,000 tonight because I just heard that the City Business Council purchased 2,100 tickets worth $30,000 for tonight to give away.

They will have at least 14,000 tonight.

LOL that will only be because the city business council bought 2100 tickets for tonight lol .. how pathetic ... even then I think your prediction is way too high. I'm thinking 9,000 paid and then 2,100 free tickets.

[URL="http://www.nola.com/hornets"]New Orleans Hornets (http://connect.nola.com/user/dtatum/index.html) fans on the north shore should be able to watch their favorite NBA team on Charter Communications soon. Charter and Cox Communications have scheduled a press conference for Friday.

The two cable companies have been negotiating for years about Charter carrying Cox Sports Television (http://www.coxsportstv.com/), the channel on which Hornets games are televised locally. Now, in order to watch Hornets games on the north shore you need to subscribe to the DISH network.
Executives from both companies said last month that they were making progress in the negotiations.

OFFICIAL ATTENDANCE

13,325 ... not as bad as I expected, but keep in mind that 2,100 of those tickets were given away for free so the real number is around 11,000.
