Actually what i liked about this was they built puppets for the actors, obviously the cgi was used for the fights but alot of the robot/human interaction was noncgi. The scene where Jackman trains the robot outside had a guy in the suit actually doing work, instead of Jackman standing in front of a tennis ball. So credit to the director for going old school.
