Being down 3 at the half is pretty much as ideal of a scenario as the Spurs could have hoped for, considering how they played..

Duncan and Parker were the only guys that showed up..the D was good when Duncan was in the game, and atrocious when he was on the bench..Pop is gonna have to play Duncan more than he planned for if he wants the Spurs to win this game, no resting him tonight..

Manu is playing very poorly, a rare sight this season..he's jacking up way too many 3s, he's not driving at all, he's getting killed on D..he needs to wake up in the 2nd half..

I don't think the Spurs can survive another Blair-Bonner stretch, unless the lineup gets hot from 3, unfortunately..

The Spurs are #2 in the NBA in 3rd quarters, so we'll see if they come out hot here..if they focus more on D and stop jacking up stupid shots, they should win this game..

If Ginobili would take his head out of his ass and get engaged in the game and Pop would stop playing ridiculous lineups (Hill on Anthony, five smalls to end 1st quarter? Got what he deserved . . . playing a team that attacks the rim like this and putting as little rim protection on the floor as possible), then this is winnable.

It also wouldn't hurt if Ginobili threw Duncan the damn ball in the post when he's looking as good offensively as he has all season. But I guess it's more fun to jack up lazy, contested threes. Every time it's the second game of a back to back and he's tired, he resorts to this. Didn't even attempt to come out playing to win, just decided beforehand he's tired, so he'll just jack up lazy, contested threes. If they go, great. If not, who cares? They've won enough for now.
