It’s no secret that playing alongside Andre Miller frustrates Brandon Roy. Miller keeps Roy from handling the ball as much as he wants and doesn’t spread the floor enough for Roy’s liking.
"This is not going to work, so you should trade one of us. Whether it’s him or whether it’s me, somebody needs to be traded because this is not going to work. "

Would the mavs trade Butler+ Haywood + some picks for Roy?

Tbh, Roy is just done.
He hurts the Blazers more than he helps.

even though dudes been plagued with injury this season, he would still be a great asset to add to mavs squad imho. Mavs need to act quick this time to wrap him up imo.

beside some future picks mavs also need to add roddy to spice up the offer imo, and i see no practicality to dump Haywood in this deal. Butler + Roddy + fillers and picks would be an acceptable offer imo.

Roy is finished. Any GM who trades multiple players and picks for Roy at this stage of his career should be fired tbh. He can still have a decent career, but I don't think he'll ever get his athleticism back.
Edit : Isn't Roy's contract like fucking huge? Don't remember the exact numbers but I'm pretty sure he's making the max...

:lol Roy needs to accept reality..the sooner he can do that, the sooner he can build a new niche in the NBA..
Anybody notice a trend catching on?
All these players are fuckin' primadonnas.

Saw this coming as soon as Andre Miller was signed. TBH-- Roy has been frustrated by this much longer than people think.

lol I think he's mad because Andre Miller's now the better player.

Roy is really coming off as a bitch. He needs to get off that mentality that he is a franchise player. If I were the Blazers, I bench him and start Miller-Matthews-Batum.

Uhhh..Miller put up 52 points last year. He aint going nowhere.

Yup, I remember you calling it, too..Roy has dropped many subliminals about the team chemistry with Andre Miller and others..

LOL Roy is slower then my Grandma now & he wants to handle the bar more? He's not even 4 or 5th option on his team these days IMO. Wes Mathhws >>>>>> Roy at this point
noob cake

We'll gladly ship them Aaron Brooks for Dre + Batum
1) No point guard handling
2) Doesn't dominate the ball
3) Expert at spreading the floor, one of the best three point shooters in the league
Perfect for Roy

who fits better for the mavs, roy or miller
Phillip

I'd take him on the Mavs any day of the week.
This way, Barea and Terry could get less minutes handling the ball, and they could really have Roddy B play as a 2 guard in the offense while Roy plays as PG when Kidd is out. Might finally be that #2 guy that Dirk has never had. I doubt he gets traded, but if he does, the Mavs need to be all over that shit.

Why would POR trade their best player in Miller who makes reasonable $$$. It POR managements fault for giving Roy that contract knowing his knees were shot...fuckin' dumbasses
Only deal I'd do for Roy is Roy/Przybilla for Haywood + fillers and I'd only do t bc I'm getting Joel back

The Roy that we would be getting is not better than a prime Michael Finley

Roy has no right whatsoever to demand for anything related to player movement, unless he wants to retire at 26.

Why would Roy want to be on a team where Dirk takes 20 shots a game?
He want´s to be The Man!
Houston seems to me the better option for him, he can pick n roll to death with Scola and Brooks has a lot of range to space the floor from the PG spot.

Roy is close to the Lews/Arenas status, who the hell trade for him?

Roy for Joe Smith and Luke Walton ...... we're giving up a former number one pick in the draft and one of the smartest ball player ever for damaged goods ........

Portland seems to overvalue there players (i guess like most teams in the NBA) when it comes to trades. Just saw on cbssports.com that portland offered Batum and Pryzbella for iggy and philly understandably turned them down. Seriously, Batum and Pryz ?
