28 points (16-18 FG and 4-6 on FTs) 16 boards 4 blocks and 4 assists in 33 min and crafty moves like in the past on a Back to Back more less and throwing it back in Charles B's face about him being done. Props to him and the rest of the big three and the entire team that came up huge tonight.

A big difference for Duncan tonight is that his jump shot was finally falling..

As I said in the other thread, Duncan shot 50% off the J in the first half of the season for the last 2 years, a big part of his hot start..this season, he's shooting 35% or so off his J, which hasn't allowed him to open up the rest of his game(since he isn't going to use too much energy in the post, so he can conserve energy for the playoffs)..

When his jump shot is on like tonight, he can still put up games like these, which makes the team even scarier, obviously..

To be fair Duncan has not taken as many shots - early in the year he was pretty strong on the jumper and then has seemed to have gone into a mini slump. However, I expect that as the Spurs play the stronger teams he will continue to produce, and more importantly, he will bring this type of talent and game with raised minutes during the playoffs.

That is the Duncan we'll see in the playoffs. He's just been cruising through most of the season waiting for the real season to begin. ;)

I have no doubt this will be duncan in the playoffs. Our team may not be under the radar this season, but a know Duncan will be. Don't worry charles, you will be wrong again.

Duncan was 12-18 not 16-18. But still, that was a vintage duncan performance.

So Chuck said Duncan was done? Man that sorry piece of rump roast. He is always saying incredibly cynial things. Saying Tim Duncan is done already is just ridiculous.

We do not realize how lucky we are to watch the career of Tim Duncan. Well, some of us do! He is amazing!

Duncan had a great night. Thanks to Nene and (who played the 4?) Duncan had a field day on the glass. He's having the worse statistical season of his career, but lets face it, Duncan is human too, I'm sure he enjoyed his monster statline performance.

Honestly if Tony and Manu can just rest this summer along with Tim, this team can be so much better next season.

We know the potential they have if everyone can stay healthy. If we're gonna try one title run I would bring everyone back but Bogans Mason and McDyess .

I was looking right until that last part about McDyess. So much fail there. Well we are better without Bogans and Mason though.

Tim was great last night. I love how you almost forget that he is on the court (offensively) when Manu, Tony, and George are humming along. Then he delivers a performance like this to remind you, "Oh yeah, we also have the best player on the planet."
Stay healthy my Spurs. Stay healthy.

IMO Duncan heard Barkley's bullshit pregame, that he was sucking. He came in did his thing and shut the fat ass up.

Correction it was 12-16 but the other thing misses is the blocked shots he blocked 4 after 7 the previous game and was moving much better. Granted he did get out quicked a few times but to be fair Duncan is not getting as much help as he used to down low, except when Dice is in there IMO.
