Who is the best closer ever? Please vote.

On a side note, if Manu is the greatest ever, does this devalue Timmy Duncan's accomplishments?

This thread is terrible and you should feel terrible. Making a mockery out of reasonable, sensible spurs fans.

Only seeking the truth, and I'm in no way trying to downplay the accomplishments of Manu Ginobli.

No I dont think so. I think the Spurs have been the team of the decade because of the following people

1. The system and Coach Pop

2. Duncan, greatest power forward

3. Manu, smartest hoopster on the planet

4. Tony

5. David and the others

This is probably the best way to express it:

MANU IS THE SMARTEST CLOSER IN BASKETBALL.

PS: I was thinking of picking LeBron because of how he won the award for "Best Performance in a Championship Performance" back in 2007. Yay Eastern Conference Champions!

He was also instrumental in ensuring that the finals were resolved in 4 games.:downspin:

Dirk might have something to say about that.. but don't bother him, he's shooting his free throws thanx to Manu.

This is why ST is a joke. Take this place seriously all the time. Only way to board here.

Michael Jordan easy. Someone mentioned in the "Manu's clutchness vs the Nuggets thread" that Michael jordan hit the game winner and stole the ball from Malone to win the 1998 championship.

What manu did, was a still just 1 victory in the season. If he does that in the Finals, then we have a real contender. Til then, Its Jordan then everyone else.

nope sorry it was a charge...the only thing that can be debated about that play is whether or not to call that foul in that part of the game.

3. Maybe Bird, R. Allen, or the Dream. Either way this is a far distant third.

Its not debatable. That was a charge and it should have been called. If it wasn't called, their would be an even more outrage. I saw it coming. Carmelo should have also. :P

:lol rayrayj and his gargantuan vagina. This pussy was talking so much shit before the game. I think he forgot that players on that team don't even want to play on that team. Shut your ho ass up rayray.
