If you follow the steps you wont have a problem.
When I rooted my G1, I thought I bricked it (I was rooting it while pretty drunk :lol) but I was able to recover the next day with a clear head.

I was having a lot of problems yesterday updating from android 1.5 to 2.1 on my Moment but it all became easy once I used an older version of the updater. I have no idea what the issue was but I'm glad I got it working because not its gonna be fun to flash kernals on this baby.

Flashing is easy if you download a program to do it for you, like a clockw0rk mod or something similar.

Yeah it was really easy once I got the computer to recognize the phone. Most of the flashing on the moment is done with a cracked sprint updater and its easy at shit.

Flashed my moment over to Froyo tonight. God damn I love the development community.
