Which of these guys do you think has the best chance of coming back and making a splash? Or are every single one of them done?

Oden is made of rubber bands and eggshells
Yao is a perpetual broken foot
Bynum is a playa with broken knees

Almost want to throw Bogut in this group but I think he's over the injury bug.

I think it's safe to say that careerwise, all three of these guys are a disaster with their respective owners putting them on a shelf crossing their fingers hoping they make it back healthy.

Oden

I think Oden too but if you were trying to build would you make a trade for Greg Oden? I wouldn't. I think Oden might possibly have worse bones than Yao. If you aquire one of these guys, you have to put them on the shelf and hope they make it back in one piece.

Considering one of them is currently playing, dumb question.

Neither have the other two.

Well that's true. I guess the question should be who would you trade for and put on your team to build for the future?

Right now I'd have to say Bynum>Oden>Yao although Yao/Oden are tossups but Oden is younger and might heal up. I've been watching Oden since he was in high school. He is an annual injury waiting to happen.

The Lakers average of margin of victory since Bynum returned is like 20 or something.

:lol :lol Comparing the 2nd best center in the league when healthy to two guys on the verge of retirement.

yao will have turned 32 when he's fully healed, even if he does make a miraculous recovery.

Only way bynum makes a splash is when he and his 400 pound cheeseburger eating ass jump in a swimming pool.

I doesn't seem as thought Bynum's injuries have been nearly as severe as Yao's and Oden's.

21 Douchebags is so arrogant about his beloved laker players. What a crappy poster - over 5000 with nothing interesting to say. I miss 2005 -2007 time period when the Doucher had the good sense to crawl under a rock and not post here. Those times will be back very soon, thankfully.

All three players have serious fundamental defects in their knees or feet.

It is just a matter of time when the next injury occurs for all of them IMO.

oden has been more of a fail than yao, honestly said, but he still has time to reverse it. anyway these two #1 picks are favorites to win the title of "the worst #1 draft of decade", with a big margin over the 3rd place.

What have we learned? Don't draft guys over 7ft? Just have a bunch of 6'11" guys.

Jacobdrj makes a good point unless they are built and play like Hakeem Olajuwan or Tim Duncan.
