I might have seen him play a little. I was a laker fan in the early 70s, so I could have seen him against them.

I can't remember.

I'm an old fart.

son in today's NBA he would be exactly like Jason Williams was in his prime. flashy passes that whooo the crowd, but most of the time fail and he would struggle to score. the game has changed tremendously.

current all time leading division1 ncaa scorer with 3,667 points scored and an average of 44.2 points per game.

25ppg avg over 9yr career in the pros.

of course like you said, that aint in todays game, but it was pretty good in the best league he had the option to play in.

He was under-rated by so many an unreal talent a combo of the Harlem Globe Trotters Melon + Nash and Manu all in one offensively.

My dad was Pete's little sisters teacher in high school, so we used to get free tickets. I remember sitting around the court in metal folding chairs. If memory serves me correct, it seems as if the local high school games had just as big, or bigger crowds as the New Orleans Jazz did.
