Did you not read my OP? I'm the assistant manager and will NOT get minimum wage. If I wanted to make that little I'd get back to McDonald's. :nope

I don't think you can purchase alcohol with government assistance.

To play devil's advocate for a second...I'm sure it's a lot easier to afford alcohol when you have your other groceries and living expenses covered...tbqmfh

You guys can really be dolts. If he gets his own store, with wages and bonuses, he can make in excess of $60k annual as a Dominos manager. I know one.

This is obviously a joke.

Glassdoor reports annual salaries for a Domino's Ast. Manager at around 15-20K annually.

They're usually quite accurate too.

I'm sure with that master's degree you couldn't run a Domino's Store though. :downspin:

Just saying just because you have a piece of paper framed up on the wall doesn't mean you are better/deserve better pay than someone who makes pizzas.

Not to be an ass but yes, they deserve better pay because they invested time and money for proper education and better recognition.
Some people studied really hard and still take continuing education because they refuse to earn minimum wage or close to minimum wage.

Attitude and work ethic is the balancing argument here.

I know plenty of high school dropouts who have a better work ethic than most of my "scholar" friends. Don't give me that bullshit that a person with a degree is better suited for having a job....

We are talking about getting a better pay, not being able to hold a job.

If an HR person asks you why they should give you that kind of salary and package, Im sure you'll tell him you are a hardworker and you have a great attitude...and so will the other 20 applicants. On the other hand, you can tell them "because I have a master's degree" and not a lot of people can say that.

Now if you are already in the company, that's when hardwork, street smarts and application will come into play.
